Synopsis
A group of eight college teens, are invited for a weekend of partying at a mansion, on a very isolated island, owned by Muffy, to celebrate their last year of school. But what is this party really about? The teens start discovering things about each other, and their past, as they are slowly picked off, one by one. Is this whole thing an elaborate set-up by Muffy, or is there a killer loose on the island? Who will really have the last laugh?

Review
First off, I really like the slasher films of the 80's. The horror villains are what really dominated the 80's decade for horror movies. But then you come across an oddball of a film, such as this one, there is no villain. Just a group of teens, looking for a good time, and then they start dropping like flies in a poison trap. I mean, most people know, and like the villain… these teens may know who the killer is, they just don't know it yet.

This starts off like any other horror movie, yet it plays out quite differently. The acting is equal to any other from this time period… which means, better than today's standards. And this is about as good as it gets for an 80's flick.

Gore…Well, it's definitely there, but it wasn't anything so awful that it wasn't bearable. When other movies out there, such as Hellraiser (1987), coming out only a year later, this one seems very tame in comparison. But come on, the gore isn't what you're watching this movie for. It's the mystery, the story and that 80's horror movie feel. And in those categories, it won't let you down.

If you've ever seen one of these type movies, you've seen them all…Or so you thought. If you want a movie that will stick with you, this is one that fits in that special place on the shelf. The ending is worth watching the movie for, if nothing else. I mean, this is the first horror movie to ever have this kind of outcome…And unless April Fool’s Day (2008) is the same, it's the only.

Wrap It Up
Do yourself a favor, and pick this one up. It deserves props for many things, but the ending and achievement is well worth the watch. And I'll say this, like I say about all movies. Be sure to watch the originals first. Don't start off with a remake. It could ruin your experience, all the way around.
